The journey of Frontier Media began in 2007 when Pakistan was going through a strange crisis. The era of democratic transition aligned with extremist elements taking over the mindsets of young people were the reasons that a few people from the media industry had a discourse on what needs to be done. As a result, the idea of an independent, ideological and focused media entity came up. The founders considered it as an endeavor to protect the frontiers of the nation; be it ideological, political, economic or social. The team came up with an idea of creating a multipronged approach of reaching out and communicating with the audience via multiple means in the print, electronic and digital fronts.
The team came up with an idea of launching a focused magazine towards issues of common man in Pakistan. as a result, a monthly magazine was launched with the title of “Commoner.” Later, the group went into multiple endeavors including documentary productions, visual and data based statistics curation, exclusive digital products as well as supporting the international media in Pakistan.
Currently, Frontier Media holds multiple products for information dissemination, provision of factual data and statistics, economy focused products as well as national security related exclusive databank. Moreover, the company supports the international media through its production facilities. The company holds several reporters, correspondents, translators, editors and production crew members to support exclusive engagements.
One of the key strengths of Frontier Media is documentary productions. The company has worked with several national and international entities for production of exclusive documentaries on varying themes which include historical figures, places and the regions, economic activity, business and industrial arena and the antiques.
